Software Engineer / AI Engineer
We're growing our engineering team and looking for both Software Engineers and AI Engineers to help build the next generation of Aleido's platform. Whether your strength is solid, scalable software or applying AI to real products, you'll join a team where AI isn't a side project. It's built into what we deliver and how we build it.
About the role
You'll work on Aleido's modular platform for product information, used by some of the world's leading industrial companies to create, manage and deliver technical content. You'll own work from specification to deployment, contribute to technical decisions and help shape how we engineer as a team.
You'll join us in one of two directions:
As a Software Engineer, you'll focus on building high-quality features across the platform: APIs, cloud services and modular architecture on Azure and .NET.
As an AI Engineer, you'll focus on bringing AI into the platform and our products: LLM-powered features, agent integrations, automation and tooling that turns AI capabilities into measurable customer value.
Both directions share the same foundation and work closely together.
What you'll do
Own development tasks from specification to deployment.
Write high-quality, scalable and maintainable code, using AI-assisted development to work faster without compromising quality.
Contribute to design and architecture discussions and propose technical solutions.
Perform thorough code reviews and contrubute to overall code validation and quality practices.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners and UX to refine requirements.
Support platform operations, monitoring and troubleshooting.
Improve workflows, documentation and engineering standards, including how we work with AI.
Stay curious about new technologies and help keep our solutions ahead of the curve.
Who you are
We believe that you have:
A strong understanding of software engineering, cloud services and distributed systems.
Good experience with Azure, .NET or an equivalent modern tech stack.
An understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and observability.
A clear grasp of API design, modular architecture and platform patterns.
Hands-on experience using AI tools in your development work, and genuine interest in where this technology is heading.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, and a sense of ownership for what you deliver.
Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluency in English, written and spoken.
For the AI Engineer direction, we also expect experience building with LLMs, AI services or frameworks (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI or Azure AI services), and with integrating AI capabilities into .NET applications.
Nice to have
Experience with Azure cloud platform.
Familiarity of AI/ML-enabled systems, including information flow, uncertainty and error propagation, common failure modes, and approaches to troubleshooting and debugging.
Experience with agentic workflows, MCP or other AI integration patterns.
Understanding of business process mapping and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with content management, technical documentation or aftermarket information.
