What you will do

As a Technical Writer and Native Proofreader, you will:

• Roll up your sleeves and do the research to really get under the skin of the product, then turn what you've learned into clear, concise and user-focused content for digital interfaces

• Work in an XML-based content management system with version control and metadata

• Collaborate closely with engineers and subject matter experts to understand complex technical information

• Transform technical details into intuitive content for automotive end users

• Proofread your colleagues' texts to ensure consistency in tone of voice and language quality

Who you are

You're curious, detail-oriented and thrive at the intersection of language, technology and user experience.

We believe you:

• Are a native British English speaker with proofreading experience

• Have a talent for explaining technical or automotive concepts in a clear, user-friendly way

• Can easily shift perspective and write for different types of users

• Enjoy both independent work and collaborating with others

• Are comfortable planning and managing your own work across multiple project

• Have driver license B

It would be meritorious if you have experience in:

• Coding, e.g. Python

• Basic HTML/XML

• The automotive industry
